Tracie Hotchner is a nationally acclaimed pet wellness advocate, the author of THE DOG BIBLE: Everything Your Dog Wants You to Know and THE CAT BIBLE: Everything Your Cat Expects You to Know. Recognized as a unique voice for pets and their people, she was honored as a Pet Age Woman of Influence in 2018. Since 2006 she has been producing and hosting her own hour-long radio show DOG TALK® (and Kitties, Too!) from WLIW-88.3 FM, the only NPR station on Long Island, interviewing pet experts and authors around the world.
For nearly 8 years she produced and hosted her own live, call-in show, Cat Chat®, on the Martha Stewart channel of Sirius/XM. When that channel was canceled, Tracie created a network of pet talk podcasts, continuing to produce and host Cat Chat® as a weekly podcast. Her newest weekly podcast is EXOTIC PETS™, co-hosted by world-renowned veterinary specialist and author Dr. Doug Mader. Tracie is also the Founder and Director of the NY Dog Film Festival and the NY Cat Film Festival which premiere in NYC every Fall and then travel the country, benefiting local shelters.
